The Bruree intermediates played their first league match against Crecora Manister at 18:30PM on Saturday in UL. Bruree started strong building a three point lead early on and that was equalised by a Crecora goal. Bruree pulled away further on in the first half helped by two goals from Aaron Fitzgerald and one from Jimmy O’Dea. This left the halftime score at 3-12 to 2-9. The second half would see Crecora up a gear and close the gap to three points. Bruree held this lead for most of the remainder of the game stretching it to four with five minutes to go.
