Our u10's travelled to kilfinane this evening with 12 missing but still with a panel of 16.Blackrock started brightly & lead 1-02 to 0-00 after 10 mins.Bruree settled and lead 2-03 to 1-02 at half time. In the 2nd half scores came thick fast and after 10 mins we lead 5-03 to 2-03.Two brilliant 2nd half saves from Luke Crotty in goals and excellent defending by Conor Ryan, Ellie shinney, Suzanne frawley and Sam Carey kept Blackrock at bay. The firey midfield of Junior O'Donnell & Tom Frawley and the class of our forwards Jack Carey Dáithí Curley, Mary Kate Riordan, Ryan shinney and Donnacha O'Dwyer kept the score board ticking until the end. Met with a very over physical approach, it was met Head on by Olivia & Noah Culhane, Corry Kelly who also had a stint in goals and an excellent save, Mia O'Donnell played in both backs and forward to great effect. Scorers on the night were Conor Ryan(full back) Tom Frawley, Junior O'Donnell, Dáithí Curley, Ryan shinney and Donnacha O'Dwyer, the last 2 both U8's. Panel was Luke Crotty, Sam and Jack Carey, Olivia and Noah Culhane, Ryan and Ellie Shinney Tom and Suzanne Frawley, Mia and Junior O'Donnell, Corey Kelly, Conor Ryan, Dáithí Curley, Donnacha O'Dwyer and Mary Kate Riordan. Well done on a fantastic win by all the players and management team.
